MEET HADLEY BINION

We have it on an old family video: my dad asked a little blue-eyed girl with a pixie cut hairdo what she wanted to be when she grew up. The five year old girl thought for a second, and then without hesitation, blurted out “an ARTIST”. A few seconds later she added: “and a MOMMY, too”. So here I am, 27 years later, still chasing the same dreams and following the same passions, as a wife, mom and designer.

A LITTLE PAST

I come from a long line of creative entrepreneurs and big dreamers. I’m the daughter of an English teacher, as well as an interior designer, business owner and antique dealer. I’m the granddaughter of New York Times best-selling authors, editors, garden lovers, creative dreamers and artists. Originally from Chattanooga, TN, I graduated from the Girls Preparatory School in 2002. I quickly fell in love with Oxford, MS, and graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts (Emphasizing in Graphic Design) and a Minor in English in 2006. For two years after college, I worked in Birmingham, AL as a Graphic Designer and Advertising Executive. In 2008, I married my college sweetheart, Bruner, and followed him back to Mobile, AL. Since then, I’ve built a business as a freelance designer and marketing director and business owner who loves creative projects and people.

On January 5, 2012, our lives changed forever when our daughter, Calder, was born. And three years later, on February 26, 2015, our son, Mack, was born. My babies are my whole world. And after having children, my work took on a whole new meaning. If I was going to be away from them for any time at all, I was going to help bring meaning to others. I wanted to follow my own passion and dreams, and nothing else. I would use the talents The Lord has blessed me with, and share them with the world.

A LITTLE PRESENT

As the owner of a full-service design business, I am constantly finding new inspiration – whether it be in nature, fashion, interior design, or even in one of my daughter’s coloring books. I love working with innovative and interesting people (or people who just have a big dream!) to design powerful tools to help bring their dreams to life. I’m passionate about challenging myself to create the best possible work for my clients.

I can’t imagine doing anything else.
